Origins
Conceived in November 2009, The JeffAdams Society is an online forum for the open, direct debate of the issues of the day and a training ground for leaders of tomorrow.
The name, JeffAdams, pays homage to the unique relationship of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. Friends, collaborators, bitter rivals, patriots -- two driving forces in the movement for American independence and in the early days of our republic -- the story of their political rivalry, reconciliation, and deaths just hours apart on the fiftieth anniversary of the Declaration of Independence is the stuff of American legend.
A Social Venture
Founded by David Dierksheide, The JeffAdams Society is a social venture. Its aim is to create a unique, educational, non-partisan platform for debate and discussion. A portion of any net revenue generated will be donated to a worthy cause.
